We are looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager volunteer to manage and grow our presence across social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with internal departments (i.e Marketing and Copywriting) to create engaging content, manage daily posting and community interaction, analyze performance, and align social media strategy with business goals.
Duties
- Work with Executive Leadership to develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (posts, stories, reels, videos)
- Write compelling captions aligned with brand voice
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with comments, messages, and mentions
- Track performance metrics and prepare monthly reports
- Analyze trends, hashtags, and competitor activity
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and sales teams
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistent posting
- Strategize influencer collaborations
- Monitor success metrics (follower growth, engagement rate, etc.)
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- Strong written communication and storytelling skills
- Understanding of social media algorithms and trends
- Experience with social media scheduling tools
- Basic graphic and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe)
- Ability to analyze data and optimize performance
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with social advertising
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing
- Experience managing multiple accounts or brands
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (optional)
