The Creative Agency is seeking a Social Media & Email Marketing Associate with demonstrated experience developing and managing digital content for professional brands.

This position plays an integral role in the execution of our clients' marketing initiatives, with responsibility for social media content development, email campaign production, publishing schedules, and ongoing account performance. Working across multiple brands and industries, the ideal candidate brings strong writing and creative capabilities, sound judgment, and the organizational skills necessary to manage competing priorities without compromising quality.

We're looking for someone who understands how to translate marketing strategy into compelling content, contributes thoughtful ideas, communicates proactively, and takes ownership of their work. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with an established team of strategists, designers, and production professionals while continuing to develop expertise in social media and email marketing.

What You'll Be Doing

Social Media Management

  • Develop and manage monthly content calendars for multiple client brands.
  • Write original, engaging social media copy that reflects each client's voice, audience, and marketing objectives.
  • Create and adapt branded graphics and existing creative assets.
  • Schedule, publish, and quality-check content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Bring creative content ideas, trends, campaign concepts, and opportunities to the team.
  • Monitor engagement and account performance, identifying opportunities to improve results.

Email Marketing

  • Build, format, test, and schedule professional email marketing campaigns.
  • Write compelling subject lines, preview text, headlines, and email copy.
  • Work within established brand templates while maintaining strong visual presentation and formatting.
  • Manage campaign schedules, content preparation, and internal approvals.
  • Review email performance, including open rates, clicks, and engagement, and contribute recommendations for improvement.

Project Management & Team Collaboration

  • Manage multiple client assignments, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Maintain organized project files, content calendars, and campaign schedules.
  • Communicate proactively with team members about project progress, outstanding needs, and approaching deadlines.
  • Collaborate with strategists, designers, and production professionals to coordinate creative assets.
  • Review work carefully for accuracy, brand consistency, formatting, and quality before it reaches clients or goes live.
  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities, follow through on commitments, and contribute to a collaborative, solutions-oriented team.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

  • At least 1 year of meaningful, hands-on experience creating and managing social media content for businesses, organizations, or clients.
  • Demonstrated experience building and executing email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Flodesk, or similar tools.
  • Excellent writing, copywriting, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Canva, with a strong eye for design, composition, and brand consistency.
  • Working knowledge of social media publishing, scheduling, content planning, and performance metrics.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, polished work.
  • Creative thinking, initiative, and a willingness to contribute ideas rather than simply wait for assignments.
  • The ability to work independently while communicating effectively and collaborating with a team.

A Few Things That Will Help You Thrive Here

  • You're naturally organized and enjoy keeping projects moving. You're comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback, and taking responsibility for your work.
  • You pay attention to what makes content effective, not just what makes it look good. You notice trends, recognize opportunities, and enjoy finding better ways to engage an audience.
  • Most importantly, you take pride in doing things well and want to continue developing your skills alongside talented creative professionals.
  • Agency experience and familiarity with multiple client brands are a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Growth

  • Starting pay of $41,600 to $45,760 based on experience and demonstrated capabilities.
  • Eligibility for quarterly performance-based bonuses tied to individual performance, quality of execution, and departmental revenue goals.
  • Opportunities for professional development, increased responsibility, and career advancement.
  • A collaborative, creative work environment with a hybrid schedule.
  • Performance bonuses are subject to established eligibility criteria and achievement of defined goals and are not guaranteed.

How to Apply

  • Please submit your résumé and examples of work that demonstrate your experience in both social media and email marketing.

We'd love to see:

  • At least two examples of social media content or campaigns you've personally developed or managed.
  • At least one email marketing campaign you've built or executed.
  • A brief explanation of your specific responsibilities and contributions to the work.
  • Selected applicants will be invited to complete a short, practical skills assessment designed to demonstrate the capabilities needed for this position.
  • We care about what you can create, how you think, and how you work. We're excited to meet someone who is ready to put those skills to use.
  • The Creative Agency observes the following paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
