About the Role

MarisellaBodrero.com is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support its social media strategy and content execution. This is a part-time, remote contractor position starting at 8-10 hours per week at $22/hour, with the potential for increased hours as the role evolves.

The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, thrives in a creative space, and understands the cultural nuances of Black and Latina millennial and Gen Z communities. You’ll work closely with the Social Media Strategist and Founder to execute a dynamic content strategy that drives engagement and visibility.

Location: Remote (USA Only)

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Posting & Scheduling
2. Publish and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
3. Post content manually when needed (e.g., IGTV, IG Stories, TikToks)
4. Video Editing & Content Repurposing
5. Edit TikTok videos and IG Reels
6. Repurpose older videos for bite-sized social media clips using ClipScribe
7. Timestamp lives, coaching calls, and past content for social media posts
8. Engagement & Community Management
9. Respond to comments and DMs on various platforms
10. Research and update relevant hashtags to optimize reach
11. Analytics & Reporting
12. Pull and track monthly social media analytics (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
13. Design & Brand Consistency
14. Create Instagram Stories in Canva to promote events and programs
15. Support in maintaining a cohesive and edgy social media aesthetic

Required Skills & Experience

1. Proven experience managing social media accounts
2. Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram (Stories, Reels), and LinkedIn
3. Strong video editing skills
4. Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides)
5. Experience using Canva for content creation
6. Knowledge of Black and Latina culture, trends, and digital communication styles
7. Ability to accept and implement feedback effectively

Preferred Skills & Tools

1. Graphic design experience with a bold, creative style
2. Proficiency in Slack for team communication
3. iPhone user (for compatibility with certain content tools)
4. Understanding of the coaching and expert industry
5. Experience with YouTube content strategy
