Job Description:

Arash aka @shredhappens is one of the premier content creators in the healthy food space, with an audience of 3.5M+ across his various social media channels. Arash is also the co-founder of Kaizen Food Company, a leading pasta brand, offering consumers the biggest innovation in pasta since chickpea pasta. In this role you will work directly with Arash to oversee and manage our social media community. This will require you to meaningfully and authentically engage with our social media community on Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and via Email. You will also use these learnings to help us better serve our community of followers across both the ShredHappens and Kaizen brands.

This role will require someone to be an essential partner. Someone who is willing to do whatever it takes. Since we are a small team, we do everything!

Essential Functions:
·Completely oversee community interaction across all social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest.
·Review and respond to incoming email messages

·Communicate key community sentiments and provide recommendations on how to better serve our community

·Support Arash in scheduling posts and preparing for content creation

-Customer support (Kaizen): manage and answer customer service inbounds and drive to successful resolution for both customer and brand.

Day to day (ad-hoc support):

  • Groceries in preparation for content creation
  • Working space setup and cleanup for content creation; assist Arash in content creation activities
  • Post office runs to deliver influencer packages

Requirements:
This is a contract position and the individual hired will be a independent contractor. We offer flexible hours between 9AM-5PM Monday through Friday, but looking for someone who can be available for at least 15 hours, but preferably 25-30 hours a week. This individual must be willing to work in-person in Amherst. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this role, we are not able to consider remote candidates or those preferring to work from home.

  • Must be knowledgeable in navigating through social media platforms
  • Prior experience working on social media campaigns
  • Organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build and manage relationships, and good judgment when answering customer/follower questions.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
