Job Description:


As our Social Content Creator, you will fully own the creation of short-form social content for Dorel Juvenile’s brands, including Maxi-Cosi, Safety 1st, Tiny Love, and Little Seeds. You will take content from idea to final post: concepting, scripting, filming, editing, and appearing on camera.


This is not a coordination role or a reposting role. This is a hands-on, creative production role for someone who knows how to build content from a blank page and turn it into scroll-stopping Reels and TikToks.


You will be an on-camera presence for select brands, regularly speaking directly to the audience and bringing product stories to life in a relatable, parent-relevant way. You’ll primarily film in real, everyday environments (your home, natural settings, lived-in spaces) to create content that feels authentic, platform-native, and culturally fluent.


This role is ideal for someone who:

  1. Lives on TikTok + Instagram
  2. Understands hooks, pacing, retention, and trend adaptation
  3. Can independently take a concept from idea → filmed content → edited final asset
  4. Is confident and comfortable being the face of content


You must be able to show strong examples of previous work that demonstrate your creative POV, editing skills, and on-camera presence. Applicants must submit examples of their work. This can be a portfolio website, Google Drive folder or links to TikTok/Reels you personally created. Candidates without work examples will not be considered.


Your examples must show:

  1. Content you concepted, filmed, and edited from scratch
  2. Your ability to write hooks, structure short-form storytelling, and edit natively
  3. Your comfort appearing on camera

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Concept, script, shoot + edit short-form content optimized for Reels/TikTok
  2. Quickly identify, react to, and activate trending formats, sounds, and cultural moments
  3. Submit content briefs (concepts, scripts, shot lists) for approval prior to filming
  4. Serve as on-camera talent regularly – comfortable speaking directly to camera and acting as a recognizable face
  5. Repurpose creator UGC + influencer content to maximize usage across owned channels
  6. Write short social-first copy for VO scripts, text overlays, and on-screen hooks
  7. Partner closely with the Social Media Manager, Specialist and Brand Team on planning, creative direction, and campaign storytelling.
  8. Collaborate cross-functionally with key internal partners to align content with brand priorities, product messaging, and broader campaign objectives.
  9. Attend brand shoots + quarterly social-first micro shoots to capture evergreen and launch content
  10. Deliver consistent asset volume tied to monthly priorities, launches, and seasonality
  11. Maintain organized asset libraries + file systems for clean handoffs to publishing
  12. Travel as needed for brand shoots, campaigns, and on-location content capture


Education, Experience and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications preferred with relevant digital marketing work experience
  2. 1-3 years of hands-on experience producing social-first video content (brand, agency or creator side)
  3. Strong knowledge of TikTok + Instagram trends, pacing, hooks, text overlays, and retention tactics
  4. Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Suite and/or other editing tools
  5. Excellent short-form storytelling instincts (how to land a hook fast + keep attention)
  6. Highly visual + detail-oriented creative sensibility
  7. Experience pitching concepts + writing short scripts/shot outlines for short-form video
  8. Comfortable filming yourself, speaking directly to camera, and being an on-screen personality for brand content
  9. Able to execute quickly in fast-moving environments and pivot based on social trends/performance
  10. Highly organized, able to manage multiple concepts + versions in a clean workflow + handoff structure
  11. Comfortable using AI tools to streamline ideation, scripting, editing prep, and content workflow (where it makes sense creatively)
  12. Curiosity for parent culture + an eye for social content opportunities in real everyday moments
