Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' businesses to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
• Analyze financial statements, budgets, and operational processes to understand the financial health and efficiency of the business.
• Identify areas for improvement in operations, sales and marketing, finance, human resources, and overall business strategy.
• Develop tailored recommendations and strategies that align with clients' goals and objectives.
• Provide guidance on pricing strategies, cost management, and resource allocation to improve profitability and cash flow.
• Assist with business planning and goal setting, ensuring that objectives are measurable, achievable, and aligned with the vision.
• Offer advice and support on sales and marketing strategies, including target audience analysis, branding, and customer acquisition.
• Aid in developing and implementing practical business processes, policies, and procedures.
• Provide guidance on human resources management, including talent acquisition, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Support clients in navigating challenges and obstacles, offering innovative solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements that may impact small businesses.
• Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure the successful implementation of recommended strategies.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Small Business Consultant, preferably with a focus on providing advisory services to small businesses.
• Strong understanding of business principles and practices, including finance, marketing, operations, and human resources.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify problems, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and actively listen to their needs.
• Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
• Proficient in using business analysis tools and techniques to assess business performance and recommend improvements.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative while collaborating effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Familiarity with small business regulations, compliance requirements, and government support programs is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and adapt to different industry sectors.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
