Duties

• Develop and customize Shopify themes and storefronts to meet client specifications, ensuring responsive and visually appealing designs.
• Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, and APIs to optimize store functionality and user engagement.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that enhance usability.
• Maintain and improve existing Shopify stores by troubleshooting issues, performing updates, and optimizing performance.
• Utilize front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SCSS, and React to create engaging interfaces.
• Manage version control using Git and coordinate deployment processes with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
• Implement SEO best practices and web design standards to maximize visibility and accessibility across platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in front-end development with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, AJAX, Bootstrap, and responsive web design principles.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify platform customization including Liquid templating language and Shopify APIs.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies such as PHP, Node.js, Python, Django, ASP.NET <PERSON>, Ruby on Rails, or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Experience working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server or MongoDB for data management.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including Docker containers, AWS cloud services, Ansible automation, Jenkins pipelines, and Linux environments.
• Ability to utilize wireframing tools for UI/UX design planning and collaborate effectively using Trello or Jira project management tools.
• Understanding of web services such as RESTful APIs and GraphQL for integrating third-party solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on software development lifecycle (SDLC), unit testing, system architecture design, and application deployment.
