P&B Trucking is looking for a shop manager to join our team. If you are a leader and an experienced diesel technician, then this will be a great opportunity for you.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage shop technicians.

· Manage the maintenance of equipment and all the preventive maintenance programs.

· Diagnostic trouble shooting.

· Schedule & coordinate outsourced repairs.

· Coordinate breakdown repairs & tows.

· Create purchase orders, order parts, and maintain parts inventory.

· Manager work order process to completion, to include assisting front office with
inventory.

Maintain a clean, safe. and organized shop

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experienced diesel technician with leadership skills.

· Proven ability to effectively motivate, develop and manage employees.

· Strong decision-making skills and ability to multitask.

· Possess high level of integrity, trust, and ethics.

· Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and work with technicians, drivers, peers, and support staff.

SCHEDULE

· Monday – Friday

· 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

· Overtime (as needed)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
