The SEO / SEM Specialist drives qualified organic and paid search traffic by improving technical SEO, content discoverability, and search campaign performance across priority products and markets.
The role combines hands-on execution with analysis: auditing websites, managing Google Ads programs, translating search data into content recommendations, and reporting on traffic, conversions, and acquisition efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Audit and improve technical SEO across site architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and internal linking
Develop keyword strategies and content briefs using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, or comparable tools
Manage and optimize paid search campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including account structure, bidding, targeting, ad copy, and landing pages
Monitor organic rankings, paid search performance, conversion rates, CAC, and ROAS; build recurring dashboards and performance reports
Run SEO and SEM tests across headlines, ad creative, landing pages, match types, and audience segments to improve qualified conversion
Partner with content, product marketing, web, and engineering teams to prioritize technical fixes and publish search-focused content
Track search algorithm updates, competitor activity, and marketplace trends; convert findings into actionable recommendations
What We Are Looking For
1-3 years of hands-on SEO and SEM experience in a technology, agency, or high-growth environment
Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or Screaming Frog
Experience with technical SEO concepts including crawl budgets, canonical tags, redirects, XML sitemaps, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret search data, calculate channel performance, and communicate clear optimization priorities
Experience building keyword research, content briefs, campaign structures, and performance reporting from measurable goals
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Bonus: Experience with Looker Studio, SQL, HubSpot, conversion-rate optimization, international SEO, or B2B SaaS demand generation
