Transflo is seeking a talented Senior Mobile Software Developer with deep Android expertise to join our engineering team. You will be a core contributor to our Flutter-based mobile platform, delivering mission-critical applications used by trucking carriers, fleet operators, and professional drivers across North America.

This is a full-stack role. You will take ownership of features from the Flutter mobile front end through our .NET backend services, working in a fast-moving agile environment where AI-assisted development is embedded into our day-to-day engineering practice.

CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Design, develop, and ship high-quality Flutter applications with a primary focus on Android platform behavior, performance, and native integration
2. Build and maintain RESTful and event-driven .NET backend services that support mobile application features
3. Leverage AI-first coding practices and tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and reduce toil
4. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to translate requirements into elegant, maintainable solutions
5. Implement deep Android-specific integrations including background services, WorkManager, Bluetooth/BLE, foreground notifications, Keystore, and Google Play deployment workflows
6. Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to technical roadmap planning
7. Write unit and integration tests; maintain code quality through peer code reviews
8. Champion performance optimization, battery efficiency, and memory management best practices across a diverse Android device ecosystem
9. Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) and Azure Pipelines, including Google Play internal testing and distribution workflows

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

1. 7+ years of professional mobile development experience, with substantial Android production app experience
2. 5+ years of experience with Flutter and Dart; ability to write idiomatic, performant Dart code
3. Strong proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java for platform-channel integrations and Android SDK usage
4. Solid .NET backend development experience (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework)
5. Experience with Google Play Store publishing, signing configurations, and deployment best practices
6. Proficiency with state management approaches in Flutter (Bloc, Riverpod, Provider, or similar)
7. Comfort working with RESTful APIs, JSON serialization, and async programming patterns
8. Demonstrated use of AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or equivalent) in a professional setting
9. Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for source control, pull request workflows, and collaborative engineering practices

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

1. Experience with mobile application development in the transportation, trucking, logistics, or supply chain industry
2. Familiarity with ELD (Electronic Logging Device) regulations, FMCSA compliance, or HOS (Hours of Service) workflows
3. Familiarity with the fleet telematics ecosystem, including knowledge of leading telematics providers, common data standards, and integration patterns used in commercial transportation is a strong plus
4. Background in document capture, OCR, or intelligent document processing on mobile
5. Knowledge of offline-first mobile architecture and data synchronization patterns
