We are searching for a talented Android Engineer to join our Enterprise Software Engineering organization as part of the Future of squad. Our group is dedicated to craft of engineering and a culture of continuous learning with a full dedicated day to upskill each week.  We work as a team along with our partners in Corporate Technology Group and the Enterprise to deliver native capabilities on Android and iOS platforms to support associate needs across Fidelity. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about new technology, take pride in delivering at a high velocity while also embracing learning mindset. ​

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Proficiency in Kotlin language to write clear, readable, and maintainable code.
• Proficiency in Android Studio and Android SDK.
• Exposure to development using Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with cross platform concerns.
• Familiarity with integrating SDKs for third party native capabilities.
• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Passion for learning new skills and solutions.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle.
