Title: Senior AI / Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Fully Remote

Compensation: $200,000 – $350,000 base + equity + bonus

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior AI / Machine Learning Engineer to build and deploy production-grade ML systems at a fast-growing AI startup. This role focuses on taking models from experimentation to real-world impact, working closely with product and engineering teams to power AI-driven features at scale.

You’ll operate end-to-end across modeling, deployment, and system integration in an ownership-driven, high-velocity environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build, train, and deploy machine learning models for production use
2. Develop and maintain ML pipelines, inference services, and model APIs
3. Collaborate with engineers and product teams to integrate ML into customer-facing products
4. Productionize models with monitoring, evaluation, and performance optimization
5. Improve reliability, scalability, and latency of ML systems
6. Contribute to technical decisions around ML architecture and tooling

Required Qualifications

1. 3–7+ years of experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or Software Engineering with ML focus
2. Strong experience with Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar)
3. Hands-on experience deploying ML models into production environments
4. Solid understanding of data pipelines, model lifecycle, and ML system design
5. Experience working in startup or fast-moving engineering environments
6. Strong problem-solving and communication skills
7. Experience with Cloud platforms preferably AWS but GCP or Azure will suffice
