Requisition 34032 : B4 Senior Electronic Engineer
Primary Purpose: Responsible for reliable operation of all traffic control code lines used in Unified Train Control System (UTCS).
Principal Duties:
Handles maintenance and troubleshooting of the hardware and software related to UTCS Traffic Control System (TC) codes lines and their related interfaces.
Assists IT and Transportation in the maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment used with the UTCS system, including TC computers,
Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) systems, as well as data routers and switches.
Makes practical and sound recommendations on new and innovative troubleshooting and repair techniques employed in the UTCS system.
Responsible for design and implementation of changes to UTCS and CAD databases.
Requires being on call twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, on an emergency basis.
Job Related Experience: Minimum Level: 3-5 years Preferred Level: 6-10 years
Education: Preferred Level: Associate's Degree (AS)
