Responsibilities

5 or more years of experience in electrical/controls/automation/instrumentation design for the oil and gas and/or industrial industries.

A role may be the lead designer or design team member on any given project.

Follow PCES and/or customer design standards.

Site visit customer facilities with project engineer to collect field information as needed for the project.

Manage the design budget from estimating to execution of the design drawings required for the project.

Create and complete the design drawings as needed for a given project from customer approval phase to as built.

Attend internal and external meetings and provide input that will result in value added to the design that will insure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent from a 2 year or technical school, or 4-7 years of related experience and training.

Demonstrated understanding of NEC, electrical theory application, MS Word, MS Excel, AutoCAD.

Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D or Inventor is a plus.

Ambition and desire to advance the electrical field is a plus.

Experience with wiring and assembly of panels, electrical installation, as a technician is a plus.

Salary is commensurate with experience and advancement with demonstrated success.
