Senior E-Commerce Manager at Cleverpup
Cleverpup is a soon to be launched, product-driven, innovation-fueled e-commerce brand re-imagining the world of essentials for dog lovers. With a launch scheduled for the end of 2023, this position presents a unique, ground floor opportunity to join a new brand headquartered in downtown NYC. Cleverpup was founded by two seasoned entrepreneurs with extensive experience in consumer products. We offer a dynamic, remote-friendly work environment, with the ability to be onsite 2-3 days a week in NYC if desired.
Position: Senior E-Commerce Manager (Remote/Hybrid, NYC based)
Responsibilities:
- Lead E-Commerce Strategy: Own the site optimization roadmap and build a talented team of marketing managers to continually improve our web experience and hit short and long-term revenue targets.
- Drive Conversions & Revenue Growth: Develop best practices in e-commerce to drive conversions, increase AOV and LTV, and develop a segmentation and personalization strategy.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyze e-commerce performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing strategies accordingly.
- Digital Marketing Oversight: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media strategies to drive traffic and conversions.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Regularly analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to inform e-commerce strategies and tactics.
- Customer Experience Management: Ensure a seamless, intuitive, and enjoyable experience for customers from landing page to checkout to post-purchase support, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and fulfillment efficiency.
- Vendor & Platform Management: Oversee relationships with e-commerce platform providers, technology vendors, and other external partners to ensure the delivery of needed services and solutions.
- Innovate & Optimize: Create our AB Testing roadmap to reduce friction in the customer lifecycle funnel and oversee site-merchandising initiatives.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Collaborate with founders and team members on all product launches and promotions and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership, and partners.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of senior experience in e-commerce or digital product development with a proven track record of exceeding KPI goals.
- Strong expertise in Shopify and related technologies.
- Proficiency in online merchandising, user experience design, and usability best practices.
- Hands-on experience with content management systems and analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with marketers, product managers, designers, and functional stakeholders.
- Strong Excel skills and data-driven and analytical mindset.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
