IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

This role requires a deep grasp of systems and networking and a strong background in application deployment technologies, scripting and application engineering support. Our DevOps team is responsible for building infrastructure tools, managing our SaaS solution, automating the system/application deployment pipeline, and working with development teams to design scalable software. The DevOps role is critical in ensuring the smooth operations and service delivery of the NowSecure high volume, big data driven infrastructure and applications.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  1. 5+ years experience working in SaaS based software development working with multiple open source projects and frameworks to deliver intricate & scalable product solutions
  2. Kubernetes design and administrative experience
  3. Experience designing and deploying Infrastructure as Code usingTerraform
  4. Experience working with AWS
  5. Extensive experience working with git source control and CICD pipelines
  6. Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog
  7. Experience managing and maintaining highly scalable and available network services and APIs, particularly with distributed, event driven, or highly-parallel systems
  8. Experience with a programming language such as Python or Golang.
  9. Strong sense of follow through and a preference for working in a dynamic startup environment where everyday offers new challenges
  10. Work in a distributed fast paced environment

AND, BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THIS:

  1. Experiencing managing Kubernetes with Rancher
  2. Experience implementing and managing AWS EKS clusters.
  3. Experience managing PostgreSQL
  4. Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer, or DevOps Engineer
  5. Experience with SAML/OpenID/OAuth2 using Auth0
  6. Experience with building secure systems
  7. Encryption and other security fundamentals
  8. Open-source contributions and participation

INFORMATION SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Follow guidance in the Master IS Policy and applicable Network Admin standards and procedures
  2. Perform responsibilities assigned to the Network Administrator in the Master IS Policy
  3. Implement network security controls as required by applicable policies, including role-based access, default deny firewall rules, logging, patch management, and system security testing
  4. Implement secure coding standards and software security controls as required by policies
  5. Report any security incidents and support incident response procedures pursuant to the Incident Response policy
  6. Support information risk assessments, internal and external information security audit functions
  7. Maintain asset tracking for all subject information systems and assets
  8. Complete security training and maintain current certifications as required
