Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are seeking a Senior Developer based in the Denver area for a hybrid role. If you have a solid understanding of WC3 compliance and key web application design principles, you might be a great fit in helping us solve some of our nation’s most complex space app user experience challenges.

This is a hybrid role based in Denver, CO with frequent onsite client work. While this is a hybrid role with some remote work, team members are not permitted to take Rocket issued devices outside the United States, or work on client related content while outside the United States.

About You

1. You have 5+ years experience developing complex, intelligent, and secure web applications with modern web technologies, in client side and/or server side.
2. You have experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript ES6+) and/or expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Ruby, Python, PHP, or C++.
3. You possess expert level knowledge of modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
4. You understand W3C compliance.
5. You understand key web application design principles
6. You have experience with micro-frontends and implementing techniques to minimize page load times, reduce server response times, optimize resource delivery, and enhance user experience.
7. You enjoy working closely with both internal and external design teams to ensure the feasibility of the design, clarify ambiguous designs, and build reusable code and components.
8. You are comfortable operating as the Development Lead on projects when applicable, providing technical oversight to fellow Developers on the project and ensuring project deliverables are met.
9. You live in the Denver area and are willing to regularly work onsite for clients.
10. Due to Rocket's work with local and federal government agencies US Citizenship is required- you must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Rocket Communications determines the salary range for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.
