Cogitativo is a Spanish adjective that means ‘thoughtfully’, and this is how we approach our work. Our startup was born with the purpose of thinking deeply about the issues affecting our healthcare system. We are a different kind of Data Science company, singularly focused on improving our healthcare system for all stakeholders – especially patients.

Based in Berkeley, California, Cogitativo is a machine learning, data curation and technology company with a mission to help healthcare organizations extract value from public and proprietary data sources. Our proven machine learning platform helps our stakeholders reduce their levels of epistemic opacity while improving efficiency and lowering the cost of healthcare. Cogitativo's mission is to be the premier supplier of AI/ML solutions for the healthcare industry, and we’re building an ecosystem and corresponding pipelines of data that are replicable across industries.

Our Clinical Insights team supports the development and maintenance of high-performance machine learning models and drive the roadmap for multiple-petabyte-scale analytic discovery that will impact tens of millions of healthcare consumers within the United States. With access to more than 55 million consumer healthcare datasets, our data scientists rely heavily on insights gained from data to guide feature development and performance metrics to detect optimization opportunities and improvements in healthcare delivery. The clarity and insights that our team provides enable our clients to quickly extract value from our collective efforts.

Senior Clinical Data Scientists partner with in-house Medical Officers and a team of highly talented and diverse Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers specializing in applying deep learning and machine learning to extract insights from one of the richest data sets in the industry. We need your help to scale these computational models into real products or services that help to improve healthcare in the US and worldwide.
