Akkodis is seeking a Senior Building Maintenance Technician for a full-time position with a client located in Quincy, MA(100% Onsite). Ideally, looking for someone to take on these responsibilities, must be able to have some technical skills (Outlook, Teams, responsive with work orders, using Siemens Building Management System).

Salary Range: $55,000 to $60,000/ Year(The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Building Maintenance and Operation

o Maintain and oversee the daily operations of all building systems for buildings within the office park; including, but not limited to, mechanical HVAC, electrical, plumbing, architectural, building envelope, structural, roofing, life safety, and Siemens Building Management System

o Maintain compliance with all codes, standards, and statutes used in regard to the operation of all building systems at client-owned properties in Quincy and Avon

o Responsible for the implementation, completion, and follow-up of work requests and preventative maintenance for buildings within the office park

o Oversee the work of all building contractors in buildings within the office park by coordinating and monitoring all work, visits, tasks, and repairs

o On-call for building emergencies during and outside of regular work hours

Requirements:

· High school graduate or equivalent; 5 - 10 years related work experience, technical school preferred

· Valid Class A driver’s license

· Flexibility is required with regard to working hours

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Must have own transportation

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work Environment: Must be able to lift a minimum of 70lbs, must be capable of safely using hand and power tools, travel required up to 10% of the time, must work in areas with risk of electrical shock part of the time, wet or humid conditions (non-weather), work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places(roof), outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold (non-weather), extreme heat (non-weather), confined spaces, moving objects/equipment.
• Physical Demands: Stand, Sit, Walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, Carry, Climb or balance, Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, Bend, twist or squat, Use of feet/legs to control equipment, Simultaneous use of hands, wrists, and fingers, Drive or operate machinery. Comfortable with heights (Ex. Being on a ladder).
