Optomi, in partnership with a nation leading energy co-op is searching for a talented Biztalk Consultant to join their team. The Biztalk Consultant is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Biztalk environments. Duties include deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise-level Biztalk applications, monitoring system performance, and resolving technical issues.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide BizTalk production support as well as on-call support, including proactive analysis of operating situations.
2. Support after-hours production deployments and operations.
3. Analyze existing BizTalk solutions and produce comprehensive functional documentation.
4. Create required documentation including technical specifications, system architecture, deployment procedures, and any necessary developer or user documentation for developed solutions.
5. Enhance monitoring, alerting, and messaging related to the BizTalk platform processes as needed.
6. Assist team in developing, testing and deploying enhancements for existing applications
7. Modify existing BizTalk artifacts such as schemas, maps, orchestrations, pipelines, adapters, and custom components based on specifications. Write code in C#/.NET for custom development within BizTalk.
8. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of the integration solutions. Debug and resolve issues as they arise during testing phases.
9. Become proficient with firm’s continuous integration, continuous deployment pipeline processes using BizTalk Deployment Framework. Familiarity with TeamCity and Octopus preferred.
10. Proficiency with GitHub and pull request process.
11. Experience working within an Agile Team environment and applying good development practices.
