Senior Accountant role in Greater Milwaukee

A local hospitality organization is looking for a new Senior Accountant to play a key part in leading their accounting team. The organization has doubled in size the past two years and with that growth, this role will offer a quick roadmap up to Controller!

Job Duties:

• Assist with month end close of the general ledger including preparation of journal entries
• Analyzing income statement variances
• Oversight of the fixed asset records
• Preparing and providing information related to the external audits
• Completing related account reconciliations
• Assist CFO with annual forecasts and budgets
• Special projects as assigned by the CFO

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience
• Hospitality or Real Estate Experience required
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Adaptability
