Role: Co-Founder (Technical + Business)

Equity: 50/50 Partnership

Stage: Working MVP + Full Business Portfolio

Compensation: Equity only (no salary at this stage)

About the Opportunity

StickDeath is the revival and evolution of a recognizable early internet animation brand, rebuilt as a modern, creator-driven platform. The foundation is already established:

1. ✅ Working MVP
2. ✅ Complete business portfolio and strategy
3. ✅ Pitch deck ready
4. ✅ Defined monetization and growth model
5. ✅ Nostalgic brand with an existing audience to leverage

This is not an idea-stage project. The vision, positioning, and roadmap exist. What’s needed now is a partner who can help build and run the business.

Who I’m Looking For

I’m seeking a true 50/50 co-founder—someone who can operate at both the product and business level.

You should be comfortable:

1. Getting up to speed quickly on an existing vision and strategy
2. Co-owning decisions, risk, and execution
3. Helping lead the company, not just writing code
4. Representing the business in conversations with investors, sponsors, and partners

This is not a freelance role or advisory position.

Responsibilities

Product & Technology

1. Co-develop and evolve the mobile app
2. Build and maintain the web platform
3. Help shape technical architecture and roadmap
4. Ensure scalability, reliability, and UX quality

Business & Growth

1. Co-run the business day-to-day
2. Assist with fundraising, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships
3. Participate in investor outreach and pitch discussions
4. Help refine go-to-market strategy and monetization
5. Collaborate on long-term vision and expansion

Ideal Background

Experience in some combination of:

1. Mobile and/or web app development
2. Early-stage startups or indie products
3. Fundraising, partnerships, or sponsorship discussions
4. Consumer platforms, creator tools, or media brands

More important than specific tech stacks:

ownership mindset, communication skills, and the ability to execute.

Partnership Structure

1. 50/50 equity partnership
2. Shared ownership of StickDeath, StickDeath Infinity, NEW StickDeath, and all related entities
3. Equal decision-making authority
4. Long-term commitment to growing the brand and platform
