EBBS Brewing Co is looking to hire a Seasonal Cellarperson / Packaging Operator at our production facility in Flushing, Queens, NY.

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• A primary focus on safe and diligent operation of all packaging equipment (Wild Goose 4 Head Filler, SKA Depalletizer, Paktech can applicator, DMM Brewsky cartoner).
• Performing quality checks and working with Quality Control Lead to ensure packaged beer meets quality standard.
• Transfers.
• Other cold-side cellar duties.
• Performing both scheduled preventative and unscheduled maintenance of all packaging equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical operational issues and escalate issues when appropriate
• Ability to thrive in a team oriented atmosphere where clear communication and lack of ego are valued.
• Meticulous record-keeping in both written & digital formats.
• Additional duties include keg cleaning & filling, assisting brew staff, and cold-side cellar duties as needed.
• Flexibility to fill in with warehousing department when required.

Qualifications include

• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Experience in a production facility required
• 1-2 years experience with packaging operation preferred
• Strong work ethic & keen attention to detail.
• Ability to clearly communicate & understand written and verbal instruction in English.
• Experience with forklift operation preferred
• Ability to regularly lift up to 55 pounds, and push/pull up to 150 pounds. Ability to perform tasks while standing, crouched, and climbing ladders.
• Consistently wear appropriate PPE at all times.

This is a seasonal position that will last until the end of September. The position will average 40 hours / week and pays $25 / hour. The position is eligible for overtime and paid time off.
