Key Responsibilities:

1. Sell job posting and advertising packages in the Michigan Job Magazine (print and digital)
2. Identify and contact Michigan-based employers with immediate and future hiring needs
3. Build and manage a client pipeline through outbound calls, emails, networking, and virtual/in-person meetings
4. Customize advertising proposals to align with employer recruitment goals
5. Maintain relationships with clients to support repeat business and renewals
6. Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and activity goals
7. Represent the magazine at job fairs, business expos, and networking events
8. Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to ensure client satisfaction and ad quality

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of B2B sales experience (media, advertising, recruitment, or workforce industry preferred)
2. Strong understanding of employer recruitment needs and job advertising trends
3. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
4. Self-starter with the ability to manage time, leads, and follow-ups independently
5. Proficiency in CRM tools and sales tracking systems
6. Professional appearance and a strong desire to help Michigan employers succeed
7. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-person client meetings

2. Staffing agencies, HR departments, and recruiters
