QUALIFICATIONS

This Superintendent will plan and supervise a wide range of residential and commercial roofing projects from start to finish. The Superintendent will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. The Superintendent will maintain continuous and consistent communication with clients, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.

• A minimum of 2-5 years of roofing project management experience.
• Strong ability to establish working relationships with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Implementation of various project management operations through proper coordination.
• Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous, time-sensitive projects.
• Proven ability of effective time management and goodwill building ability.
• Demonstrated project and budget management experience.
• Excellent problem solving and personnel management skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with project management software etc. Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assist in the supervision and management of Junior Project Managers.
• Minimum of one year of experience/knowledge in Environmental Health and Safety.
• Knowledge and experience of Local, State and Federal safety requirements.
• Knowledge of and experience with procurement of contractors and supplies.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel frequently to in-state project sites.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

• Bilingual is REQUIRED.

SUMMARY

The Superintendent has knowledge of and experience in; Personnel and Team Management, Project Planning and Design, Quality Control, Progress Reporting and Safety.

The Superintendent will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and/or Operations Manager.

The work week is targeted at 40 hours: however, it is not uncommon for the work week to exceed up to 60 hours or for individual workdays to exceed up to 12 hours. The expectation is that the individual who takes on this position is flexible enough to comply with these potentially diverse hours of construction.

Responsibilities: As the Construstion Superintendent for the Company you will be responsible for participating in and/or supervising the following areas:

• The construction superintendent ensures projects are delivered successfully and on time. They collaborate with staff and subcontractors to define project needs and oversee performance.
• Construction superintendents monitor projects from planning to completion, including tasks such as budgeting and scheduling. They follow quality standards and ensure the safety and security of the construction site.
• Keeping track of project progress.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.
• Purchasing equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to determine project needs.
• Set performance goals and deadlines.
• Plan construction processes.
• Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor and report on project progress.
• Help keep track of material stock and orders.
• Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Participate in staff training and meetings as scheduled.
• Follow supervisory/administrative directives and instructions.
• Required to have the ability to lift 50lbs or more.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
