To support and implement experimental research in nutritional, dietetic, biological and/or health science on one or more project(s); coordinate the collection of data and the preparation of study interventions; Manage the documentation, storage, distribution and collection of study interventions; Assist with laboratory experiments and sample processing for clinical and nonclinical research studies. Assist with maintaining lab equipment, chemical inventory and safety procedures. Assist with ordering laboratory supplies. Assist in training research personnel and supervising the day to day activities of students.
Bachelor’s in an appropriate biological/health/nutrition/food science or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Required Experience: Ability to translate, adapt and apply academic and/or practical knowledge to conduct biological/health/nutrition science research. Detailed organization skills. Experience with effectively communicating with a diverse employee and customer base. Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to problem solve, take initiative, and provide recommendations to complete job task.
Preferred: Experience conducting food science/nutritional, food safety/food service and/or laboratory work.
