Remote role but required to have an Active Secret Clearance. $60 an hour max rate. 6 month contract with possible extensions. Seeking a Front-End Developer to support the development of applications for the Department of Defense. The ideal candidate will be a mid-level React developer with strong UI skills and experience in fast-paced Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop front-end applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
2. Ensure performance, accessibility, and high-quality UI standards

Required Experience

1. 4+ years in front-end development
2. 3+ years hands-on React experience
3. Strong JavaScript fundamentals (async programming, closures, ES6+)
4. HTML/CSS expertise with attention to UI detail
5. Familiarity with version control (Git) and Agile workflows.
6. Active security clearance

Preferred

1. Experience with GIS/geospatial tools (Mapbox GL, Three.js)
2. TypeScript proficiency
