Position: Senior Attorney or Legal Academic

Type: Part-time, project-based

Compensation: $110–$140/hour

Duration: 4–6 weeks

Commitment: ~5 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

1. Review legal documents and confirm alignment with relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks.
2. Validate content related to ABLE accounts, guardianship, and special needs trusts.
3. Ensure correctness and clarity on Medicaid eligibility and SSI application processes.
4. Provide expert feedback to improve dataset quality.
5. Collaborate asynchronously and meet all deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

1. 10+ years of experience in special needs law or related academic fields.
2. Expertise in trust structures and disability benefits law.
3. Advanced understanding of Medicaid and SSI regulatory standards.
4. Excellent analytical and legal writing skills.
5. Strong detail orientation.
