Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team at a family-oriented private practice.

The successful candidate will provide preventive dental care, perform oral health assessments, educate patients on proper oral hygiene, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing.
• Review patient medical histories and conduct oral health assessments within the scope of practice.
• Take dental radiographs and follow applicable radiation safety procedures.
• Educate patients on preventive dental care and oral hygiene.
• Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidential information.
• Follow infection prevention, instrument processing, and sterilization procedures.
• Collaborate with the dentist and other team members.
• Follow applicable state regulations and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Dental Hygienist license for the state of employment.
• Knowledge of preventive dentistry, oral anatomy, and infection control.
• Familiarity with dental practice management software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Compensation: $43.20–$60.00 per hour

Expected Schedule: 16–25 hours per week
