Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple property locations, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement budgets for property operations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to local teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with upper management and property owner to set performance goals for each property.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess property conditions, ensure proper maintenance, and address any issues or concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners and stakeholders, addressing their needs and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Utilize software programs to monitor property occupancy, maintenance, and general performance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements of each property
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, employees, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in affordable housing, including USDA Rural Development, LIHTC and HUD housing programs.
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as data analysis, report generation, and budget management.
- Knowledge of facilities management principles and property maintenance best practices.
- Ability to negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems for tracking work orders and maintenance activities.
- Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally.
