Base Compensation Range: $63,000 - $75,000 annually.

This role has been designated as Hybrid – Flex for your day.  While most work must be done on-site, there is flexibility to work remotely when workflow and priorities allow.*The Company reserves the right to modify this designation should business needs require.

Job Summary

Trane has a new exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Regional Claims Specialist in our Pacific Northwest – Rocky Mountain Region Service group. Locations for this role would be hybrid but supports all 10 offices.

This position is responsible for regional support of claims policy and processes and will have the responsibility of training and coaching the region on policy adherence. This role will have primary responsibility of improving the region’s First Pass Yield of claim entry and reducing customer exception claims. In addition, this role will enter claims into the Warranty Management System in support of Trane Service and Contractor labor claims. This role will closely interact with the Account Managers, Area Service Managers, Project Administrators, Technicians, claims team and assigned staff. Practical HVAC knowledge and experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. They will be expected to follow policy/procedure and be able to speak to those documents. This candidate will maintain and manage projects within their region and collaborate with other regions to create a seamless claims environment. This role will report to regional office leadership with a dotted line to the Quality System Leader. Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.

Responsibilities Include The Following And Other Duties As Assigned
 

• Claims Policy understanding and advocacy
• Claims process expertise and advocacy
• Providing Regional Leadership reporting on claim status and fist pass yield
• Leading and supporting claims process improvement activity
• Identifying and monitoring failure mode impacting first pass yield for improvement opportunities
• Supporting timely claim entry by leading and attending work in process team meetings
• Manage content dissemination with process and document changes between Claims Team Leadership and Regional Leadership
• Claim entry into warranty management system
   

Qualifications
 

• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three (3) plus years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Participate in and contribute to lean improvements activities
• Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the operation of HVAC Systems preferred not required.
• Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required.
