Title: React Native Developer — Security & UX Hardening

About the Role

We’re looking for an independent React Native developer to harden and polish a live, deployed lifestyle companion app.

This is not a greenfield build — the app is already functional. Your role is to strengthen what’s already there, improve reliability, and elevate the user experience.

What You’ll Do

1. Harden authentication and user-facing security flows
2. Identify and resolve gaps in auth systems and RBAC implementation
3. Improve UX across critical screens without redesigning the system
4. Ensure clean, production-ready execution — no partial fixes

5. WebAuthn / Passkeys

What We’re NOT Looking For

1. No building from scratch
2. No full redesigns or product ownership
3. No candidates looking for a blank canvas

This is a refinement and hardening role, not a creation role.

1. Strong experience with authentication systems and security best practices
2. Comfortable working within an existing codebase
3. Detail-oriented with a focus on stability and edge cases
4. Able to work independently and ship clean solutions

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
