Ranch Hand

Looking for long term employee for deer breeding operation. Serious inquiries only; pay will be discussed at interview; reply by email with resume, references and previous work history.

Job Duties/requirements include:

· Must have own vehicle, cell phone.

· Must be physically fit, able to work outdoors, possess basic work clothing such as gloves, boots, hats, coats, rainwear, etc.

- Repairing/Replacing fences, gates as needed.

· Operating and maintaining farm equipment, such as a tractor, mower, front-end loader, etc.

· Some weekend, late/early work as conditions dictate.

· Handyman repairs and maintenance as needed

· Overall care for livestock, feeding schedule, shots

· Water trough and water line repairs,

· Mowing/shredding ranch pastures, maintain property, clearing

brush and weed control

· Verify valid driver's license and background check prior to hire

· Random drug/alcohol test possible during work hours. No working

under the influence.

· Non-smoker only

· Must be mature, trustworthy, dependable, reliable

· Must have knowledge of farm animals and a passion to care for them and the land. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, takes pride in their work and is neat and orderly, knows how to maintain farm equipment and tools, and can work safely unsupervised. Must be punctual and reliable. This work is strenuous and requires the ability to work outdoors no matter what the weather.

• We have multiple locations with animals or hay operations. Occasional travel to assist at alternate location may be required.
• Health insurance available for the right full-time candidate.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cleburne, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Ranch Hand/Caretaker/Handyman: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
