We are seeking a highly skilled Python Software Engineer with strong Production Support experience to help build, support, and continuously improve mission-critical Python applications.

This role blends hands-on software development with deep ownership of application stability, incident response, and operational excellence in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable writing high-quality code and troubleshooting complex production issues, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems.

Candidates will provide tier 3 production support for critical applications and services.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production incidents, including root cause analysis (RCA).

Required Qualifications

1. 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer specifically focused in Python and/or Data Engineering with significant production support exposure.
2. Strong proficiency in Python (Both Coding and Application Support); and troubleshooting Python at the Code Level.
3. Hands-on experience supporting applications in production environments.
4. Solid understanding of application troubleshooting, debugging, and log analysis.
5. Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
6. Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and basic system-level troubleshooting.
7. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus).
8. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively during high-pressure incidents.
