Python Developer in New York, NY

Compensation: $150,000-250,000/year

Within this role, the developer will be responsible for building, developing and maintaining a reliable, scalable, and integrated platform for trading strategy monitoring, reporting, and operations.

Qualifications

Required

1. A Bachelor's Degree; Graduate Degree preferred
2. At least 3 years of experience with Python
3. Linux / Unix environment experience
4. Experience with PostgreSQL, or other relational databases
5. Able to quickly understand and discuss requirements from Portfolio Managers
6. 
   

Preferred

1. Previous experience in low-latency trading environments
2. Familiar with quantitative finance and electronic trading concepts and financial data
3. Equities, futures, FX, or other financial instruments knowledge
4. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
5. Experience building and deploying systems that utilize services provided by AWS, GCP or Azure
6. Experience with other programming languages, such as C/C++, Java, Scala, Go, or C#
7. Apache, Confluent Kafka experience
8. Experience automating SDLC pipelines
