CNG Solar Engineering is design and engineering firm focused on the renewable energy sector. We design and engineer PV systems for residential and commercial solar companies all over the United States and we are rapidly expanding our efforts in the commercial sector, in specific with utility scale projects.
About the position:
As a PV Utilities Manager you will be responsible for assisting clients with the interconnection process; from reviewing designs to conducting utility onboarding. The candidate will be responsible for establishing a positive relationship with the client, utility companies, AHJs, implementing process improvements, and reporting on proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
o Knowledge of Utility processes
● generate weekly reports and audits on processes and projects
● Be an expert on utility requirements, rates, and processes
● Improve process accuracy and decrease processing time of projects
● Identify any delays, process error, and find solutions
● Perform quarterly performance evaluations with processing agents
● Ensure any concerns brought up within the organization are addressed and resolved
Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes, a team of 2 commercial designers.
