Solari Creative is currently in need of an experienced Public Affairs Specialist for the purpose of collecting, assembling, preparing and disseminating information concerning various technologies and programs for a major U.S. Army organization. You will be required to carry-out a wide range of assignments including article writing, social media strategy, communication planning and policy review in support of the mission. Minimum of 3 years experience working with either large corporations or military clients is desired. Please include a writing sample with your application.

Duties

Conceives, writes and distributes a wide variety of materials to communicate information about C5ISR technologies, programs, and activities. Materials include items such as news releases, reports, articles, newsletters, and speeches

1. Plans and coordinates the dissemination of information through multiple avenues including print, digital and traditional news media
2. Evaluates the impact and effectiveness of communication plans and campaigns and provides advice to management on how to improve
3. Shall understand media presence including analysis of traditional, nontraditional and social media with interests in C5ISR related areas
4. Shall conduct media content analyses to understand what is being reported by whom, the nature of the coverage, media trends, agendas and opportunities
5. Shall conduct research to understand audiences, issues and needs in order to develop Public Affairs plans

Requirements

1. Must be self-motivated, adaptable, professional and positive. Candidates with high energy, a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic will be given preference
2. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is a must
3. Must be able to adhere to deadlines and provide progress reports to management
4. Excellent verbal and written skills are required
5. Must be able to prioritize work in order to balance multiple projects/deadlines
6. Must be able to build effective client relationships based on trust, flexibility, and professionalism
7. Must be able to apply for, receive and maintain a security clearance
8. Must be a U.S. citizen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
