Key Responsibilities
- Produce a compelling radio show using creativity, imagination, and exercise of independent professional judgment in producing or broadcasting on-air content
- Be strong with phones/interacting with callers
- Able to connect with listeners both on site and on station digital channels.
- Create compelling social media engagement across all platforms as well as website and digital content generation.
- Participate in station Programming, Sales & Promotions meetings and events as required
- Perform at live broadcasts and station appearances, whether paid or unpaid
- Handle emergency news/weather in show; on call for weather, be on call for disasters/breaking news
- Follow station music log and commercial logs, ensuring logged commercials, promotions, sweepers, and any other programming element essential to the station's operations are aired.
- Voice commercials or other announcements as assigned.
- Other projects & initiatives as assigned by program director

Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years' commercial radio experience required, but those with zero radio experience will not be considered.
- All applicants MUST submit an aircheck- please follow instructions above.
- Proficient with studio software including VoxPro, Adobe Audition and on-air automation systems (OpX preferred)
- Strong abilities at both audio & video editing and production a plus
- Knowledge of PPM ratings strategies and implementation
- Experience with posting audio, video, text, blogs, and graphics to website platforms preferred
- Experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and all social media platforms and understand of social media strategy implementation is essential
- Knowledge of pop entertainment culture as well as both the DFW & Texas markets.
- Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
- Tolerance for stress and tight timelines, including ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be comfortable working with high profile talent and receiving constructive criticism and coaching.
