Overview

We are looking for a Proposal Writer to join IGT's Business Proposals team. The Business Proposals team primarily responds to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with persuasive, responsive bids to acquire new business and retain existing business for the company.

Responsibilities
 

• The Proposal Writer collaborates with proposal managers, editors, graphic designers, as well as various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the company to capture data and contribute written content in support of business proposal efforts. This content is generally non-technical text with the objective of clearly and directly communicating to customers the features, benefits, and differentiators of IGT's solutions. The Proposal Writer achieves this by:
• Reading and understanding all RFP materials.
• Meeting with Account Teams and SMEs to understand requirements and solutions.
• Gathering data and information from sources across the company to use existing content and synthesize new content in the development of RFP responses.
• Capture feedback from Account Teams and incorporate revisions to content.
• Refine content to meet department standards and ensure compliant responses, resulting in a clear and responsive final product.
   

Qualifications

Education:
 

• BA/BS or equivalent experience, preferably in a major such as Writing, Journalism, Communications, English, or similar. Candidates with equivalent job experience may also be considered.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,400 - $100,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
