The Project Manager will lead and oversee cross-functional business projects, programs, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex projects, exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of project management approaches and methodologies, and experience in fostering cross-functional collaboration.


Role And Responsibilities


Project Planning and Execution:

  1. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  2. Monitor project progress, proactively identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful delivery.
  3. Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and outcomes.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  1. Partner with multiple teams across all business areas to ensure successful project completions and on-time/on-budget outcomes.
  2. Help align enterprise project activities with organizational strategic objectives.
  3. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.


Stakeholder Engagement

  1. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders involved in enterprise projects, at all organizational levels.
  2. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key internal and external partners, including executive leadership, managers, and individual contributors.
  3. Ensure alignment of priorities across business units and departments


Process Improvement and Governance

  1. Aid in the implementation of best practices for managing enterprise projects, programs, and initiatives; uphold departmental standards for best practices to ensure consistent stakeholder experience and superior quality outcomes.
  2. Enforce governance structures to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  3. Help drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and tools.


Qualifications & Education Requirements

  1. High school diploma
  2. 3 years PBM, health plan, or similar/aligned industry experience


Preferences

  1. BA
  2. CAPM Certification


Physical Requirements

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some standing, walking, bending, and reaching may be required. Regularly operates in an office or home office setting which involves utilizing a computer, mouse, keyboard, and occasionally operates other standard office equipment, such as printer, copier, phone. Travel may be required by either car or airplane, or a combination of multiple modes of transportation.
