Position: Heavy Civil Project Manager

Location: Portland, OR

Salary: $125,000- $185,000 + Bonus(s)

Job Description: They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing deep underground utilities and large diameter pipe projects, ensuring successful project delivery from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of heavy civil projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Oversee deep underground utilities and large diameter pipe projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and client requirements.
Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
Monitor project progress, budget, and timeline, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience Needed:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil construction.
Proven experience with deep underground utilities and large diameter pipe projects.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications Needed:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
