THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE

The typical schedule for this role is 8 hours each day. We offer a hybrid schedule - some days in the office, others at home.

As a Project Engineer, you're responsible for overseeing and monitoring the production of design calculations, reports, and plans for a wide range of public infrastructure projects, with a focus on Site Civil Engineering, Stormwater, Sewer Design, and Utility Relocation. Working closely with the project manager, you assist in the development of drainage calculations, designs, and bid documents, while ensuring seamless coordination of project activities with clients and sub-consultants.

Additionally, you have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior staff members in the development and production of various projects. You're a self-starter with a strong understanding of the consulting engineering industry, and you thrive in our collaborative environment!

OUR IDEAL PROJECT ENGINEER

We're looking for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of relevant civil design experience including sewer and drainage design
• Ability to direct staff in the preparation of designs, construction plans, and documents

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification in NY and NJ States
• Design experience on NYCDEP, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, and other agencies in NYS and NJ
