We are looking for an experienced Product Narrative Director to lead narrative vision across new and live game projects. You will own narrative quality, define strategic narrative direction for live games, and drive growth through storytelling, content beats, and narrative-driven player experience improvements.

What you will work on:

  1. Own the narrative vision for new games and deliver a cohesive player experience across story, characters, tone, pacing, and narrative content;
  2. Own narrative quality across live projects and new game development;
  3. Define the strategic narrative direction for live projects in operation;
  4. Identify growth opportunities for existing projects through narrative, storytelling, and content beats;
  5. Establish narrative guidelines and a consistent voice across the game and live content;
  6. Conduct player research and work with the community to identify topics and themes that resonate with the target audience;
  7. Analyze narrative engagement using analytics systems, UX research, and player surveys, and turn insights into improvements;
  8. Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, produce, and ship narrative content efficiently;
  9. Track market trends and competitor solutions in narrative and live event storytelling;
  10. Write and oversee key narrative content: dialogues, quests, events, item and feature texts, UI narrative copy where needed.

What We Expect:

  1. 3+ years in narrative design, game writing, or content direction in games;
  2. Portfolio with shipped titles, mobile F2P experience is a strong plus;
  3. Strong writing and editing skills, ability to adapt voice and tone;
  4. Ability to align narrative decisions with product goals, metrics, and engineering constraints;
  5. Ability to create emotionally engaging stories that support gameplay loops and retention;
  6. Strong communication and presentation skills;
  7. Passion for games and player experience.

Would Be a Plus:


  1. Experience with live ops narrative and event-driven storytelling;
  2. Experience writing scripts for game videos and cinematic content;
  3. Experience leading writers or managing outsourcing partners;
  4. Understanding of game design fundamentals;
  5. Familiarity with localization workflows and writing for translation;
  6. Experience using AI tools to speed up narrative prototyping and iteration.
