Living.Fit is a curated fitness marketplace built around one idea: the right gear, the right guidance, and the right content β€” all in one place. We sell and fulfill equipment from 150+ brands, with gym flooring and resistance bands as our highest-revenue categories. We're now investing heavily in product-led SEO β€” turning our catalog architecture into a search traffic engine β€” and we need one person to own it.


The Role

This is a hybrid Product Content Manager and Product-Led SEO specialist. You'll define what every product page says, how every collection is structured, and how Living.Fit becomes the category authority for fitness equipment online. It's a high-ownership, early-stage role with real impact on how the business grows.


What You'll Own


  1. Product Page Setup & Definitions Write and standardize product descriptions across 10,000+ SKUs. Define the content template. Set up products in Shopify β€” tags, metafields, collection assignments, variant naming. Rewrite vendor-supplied copy to Living.Fit standards.
  2. Collection & Category Page Architecture Own the metadata and content blocks for every collection page. Build decision modules, comparison tables, and educational content blocks that turn product grids into decision hubs.
  3. Product-Led SEO Execution Build filtered sub-collection pages with clean URLs (/rubber-flooring/8mm, /resistance-bands/pull-up-assistance). Create use-case landing pages. Turn our flooring calculator and install guides into indexable content destinations. Develop brand pages for top vendors. Track rankings and performance monthly.
  4. Blog & Content Integration Audit 370+ existing blog posts for keyword gaps and product link opportunities. Build internal linking structures that flow blog traffic to category and product pages. Align editorial calendar with inventory and launches.
  5. Merchandising & Conversion Identify bundle opportunities. Build situation-based buying paths (Garage Gym Setup, Apartment Gym Starter, Heavy Lifting Kit). Write and test PDP headlines and above-the-fold copy.


What We're Looking For

  1. 3–5+ years in ecommerce or product-led SEO
  2. Hands-on Shopify experience (products, collections, metafields, URL structure)
  3. Strong product copywriting β€” clear, benefit-led, keyword-informed
  4. Catalog thinking β€” you see structure and opportunity in large SKU sets
  5. Fluent in GSC, GA4, and keyword tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar)
  6. Self-directed β€” you manage your own priorities and ship continuously
  7. Fitness context β€” you understand what the fitness equipment buyer searches for and what converts them


Nice to have: programmatic SEO experience, Shopify metafield architecture, comparison tool or buying guide builds, basic HTML/CSS


What Success Looks Like

β†’ 30 days: Collection page audit complete. Product content template defined and applied to top SKUs. β†’ 90 days: Flooring category rebuilt as a decision hub. Filtered sub-collections live. Calculator promoted to SEO landing page. β†’ 6 months: Use-case hubs live for Garage Gym, Apartment Gym, Heavy Lifting, and Home CrossFit. β†’ 12 months: Living.Fit ranks page 1 for primary flooring and resistance band terms. 500+ products fully standardized.
