This Role In Summary

We’re looking for Material Handlers (material tugger drivers and materials line side kitters with the possibility of tow motor drivers) to Operate power vehicle equipment in accordance with company regulations, requirements and safety instructions. Follow standard delivery schedules/routes throughout the plant. Perform routine maintenance and equipment reporting as required.

1st, 2nd and 3rd shift openings

$19.60 per hour

2nd Shift Premium: 1.25 per hour

3rd Shift premium: $1.00 per hour.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

1. Receives verbal or written instruction from departmental supervisor, area supervisor, or expeditors as to work assignments.
2. Must be able to communicate and receive communications regarding safety components and job instruction.
3. Works from printed/digital manifest for picking orders.
4. Picks up, transports, and positions or tiers a variety of parts or materials as directed.
5. As required, selects, hunts, or sorts material to be moved.
6. Returns empty containers of various types to predetermined locations.
7. Submits written reports pertaining to condition of vehicle, I.e. gas, water, oil, hydraulic pressure, general operating condition, etc.
8. Changes propane gas tanks as required, uses correct clamping pressure, following established procedures.
9. Exercises care of product quality in transporting or stacking material.
10. Transports, changes, moves, loads, or unloads material from container to container or forks as required, manually or utilizing material handling equipment.
11. Does miscellaneous off truck material handling as required.
12. Must work the required number of hours as determined by department, shift and position.
13. Performs duties of a similar or lesser skill to facilitate the flow of work in the department.

Minimum Requirements

1. High School Diploma/GED
2. At least 18 years old or older
3. 3+ months of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
4. 
   

Preferred Skills And Experiences

1. 1+ year of consistent work experience
2. Forklift or power vehicle experience
3.
