We are seeking a custom framer for a high-end shop and gallery in Boulder. Mercury Framing has been a trusted by artists, galleries and collectors since 1996. As a Custom Framer you’ll be responsible for building finished frames from start to finish with utmost care and precision. The position will also include customer interaction with taking orders. We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual who is motivated, responsible, and looking for long term work. Please send your resume and a brief cover letter.

Requirements:

• Experience handling original art.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Competency in basic math and computer skills.
• Strong eye-hand coordination and ability to use tools.
• Physical ability to work on your feet all day and strength to handle large framing materials.
• The ability to work in a deadline oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong work ethic and a passion for art.
• Personable customer service skills.
• Passing a simple math test that relates to framing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Commit to a full-time schedule that will include Saturdays.
• Customer interaction with taking orders.
• Working with owner and team members.
• Help maintain a clean workspace.
