We are looking for leaders! LeadVision Media, a Qualfon Company, is looking for a talented PHP Software Developer to join our experienced software design team. You will report directly to the Lead Developer and assist with all functions of software coding and design. Your primary focus will be to learn the codebase, gather user data, respond to requests from senior developers, and provide expertise to non-technical users.

To ensure success as a PHP Software Developer, you should have a good working knowledge of basic programming languages, the ability to learn new technology quickly, and the ability to work in a team environment. Ultimately, a top-class PHP Software Developer provides valuable support to the design team while continually improving their coding and design skills. To excel at this position, you could become the onsite expert on the codebase with the ability to research and provide answers quickly.

LeadVision Media is a fast-paced marketing company focusing on online lead generation for the education and insurance sector. We generate leads for colleges and universities as well as insurance carriers such as AllState, Geico, State Farm, etc. We are located downtown in the Deep Deuce Neighborhood. PHP Software Developer Responsibilities:

1. Assisting the Lead Developer with all aspects of software design and coding
2. Attending and contributing to company development meetings
3. Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills
4. Writing and maintaining code
5. Making bug fixes in code written by others
6. Implementing new APIs as needed
7. Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems
8. Responding to requests from the development team
9. Gathering information from consumers about program functionality
10. Writing reports
11. Providing onsite IT support
12. Conducting development tests
13. Becoming proficient with managing resources on AWS
14. Other duties as assigned by the Lead Developer

PHP Software Developer Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred but not required
2. At least 1-2 years of PHP and JavaScript experience required
3. Knowledge of basic coding languages including PHP, HTML5, and JavaScript
4. Basic programming experience
5. Knowledge of JSON and MYSQL databases and operating systems
6. Experience with curl and API’s
7. Full stack experience
8. Laravel experience is a plus
9. Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software
10. Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
11. Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
12. Detail-oriented
