About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced PHP Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side web application development, a solid understanding of back-end technologies, and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain robust PHP applications using frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.
- Maintain documentation for code and processes.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Proficiency in PHP 7+ and experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or similar.
- Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and database design.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application development.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a U.S.-based or international software team.
