For our client, we are seeking a PHP Developer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This remote role will focus on building, maintaining, and enhancing web applications that support complex government-facing work. The developer will partner with designers, internal technical teammates, and client stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions, strengthen performance, and support ongoing production needs. This position also offers the opportunity to contribute within structured federal IT processes while growing in a collaborative, client-facing environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $119,000 – $161,000 annually

Responsibilities

Develop, code, deploy, and maintain web applications and websites

Analyze customer requirements and create tailored web solutions

Collaborate with designers to enhance web applications

Conduct thorough testing and finalize web applications for production

Implement updates and contingency plans for website functionality

Provide guidance to junior web developers

Monitor and maintain application performance post-migration

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Computer Science or Information Technology

Proficient in PHP and JavaScript web development

Moderate experience with Oracle Database or similar

Familiarity with version control systems like Bitbucket

Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
