We are in search of an experienced personal finance writer, content creator, and editor to join our research team at Zacks Investment Research. We are located in Chicago, but we have always offered a flexible work arrangement for our team members, including the opportunity of working entirely on a remote basis.
This person will report to the Director of Research and will take over the personal finance segment of Zacks.com, which is a key part of our highly visible website and investment ecosystem that’s helped retail investors and money managers more than doubled the S&P 500 since 1988.
The candidate must be an experienced writer and editor who has written and managed online personal finance content. The Zacks personal finance segment provides our readers and customers with an array of content on a variety of subjects such as retirement planning, tax tips and planning, budgeting, savings, money management, mortgages, financial literacy, and much more.
Job Description
· Create and edit, error-free personal finance articles and content.
· Create videos and other audio-visual personal finance content.
· Identify relevant and trending personal finance topics and curate content that appeals to our target audience.
· Ensure that all personal financial information and advice is accurate and up-to-date.
· Monitor engagement metrics to optimize content strategies.
· Stay current with financial news, trends, and regulations.
Qualifications
· Experience in digital personal finance content creation that drives traffic and user engagement.
· Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, journalism, or a related field.
· Strong writing and editing skills, with an acute eye for detail.
· In-depth knowledge of all things personal finance.
· Well-versed in financial regulations and best practices.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work under deadlines and in a fast-paced editorial environment.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
